Cpl are supporting a key client to bring in an experienced BI / Data Engineer with deep expertise across Microsoft related technologies including SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions to ensure seamless and efficient data flow across multiple sources.
- Maintain and document Data Lake and Data Warehouse structures to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Work closely with DBA and IT Support teams to manage data integration points and accessibility.
- Collaborate with BI and business teams to identify opportunities where data can drive valuable insights.
- Assist in the design and maintenance of SSAS Tabular data models supporting Power BI reporting.
- Develop and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations based on business needs.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
- Strong expertise in SQL Server development (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions).
- Deep understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling and data warehouse design.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI development, including Power Query and DAX for complex measures.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions effectively.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and customer relationships.
