About Our Cath Lab:
Our Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory performs over 3000 procedures a year. More than 30 cardiologists, representing diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology cardiology, have regular sessions within the Laboratory. Elective services are offered Monday to Friday however a 24 hour on-call service is available to support the Emergency Department and the Intensive Care Unit.
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab practices independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care to enrolled nurses and health care workers in accordance with legislation and protocols.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Demonstrating attention to the needs of the patient and family to maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality

Requirements:
- Relevant nursing qualification
- Valid AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a similar role
- Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
- Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment
- Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
