The Resource Manager will CPL has a requirement for a Clerical Officer-grade 7 Resource Manager to provide support to a healthcare team based in Waterford.
Contract duration: 9 month initial contract
· Work closely with members of the teams to ensure that services are delivered in an integrated manner.
· Support the delivery, coordination and development of services.
· Manage the delivery of the service to clients within a defined geographical area.
· Manage a team of service workers in the specific geographical area to which s/he has been assigned.
The following are the principal duties and responsibilities of the Home Support Resource Manager:
- To supervise, co-ordinate and support the work of Assistant’s assigned to him/her.
- To supervise, co-ordinate and support the work of staff assigned to him/her.
- To arrange induction and ongoing training for Assistant’s to ensure the delivery of a quality service.
- To input into the assessment and ongoing monitoring of the non-clinical needs of clients. (When the assessment of the clients’ needs have been reported on, the Resource Manager will be responsible for the detailed specification of the clients home support needs so that these can be matched to the work specification given to the Assistant’s ).
- To identify on the training needs of Assistant’s and participate in training programmes as required.
- To allocate a service to an individual in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure for Resource Managers in operation within the Department.
- To complete Incident Management Report Forms as required and report all complaints received in accordance with policy.
- To keep and maintain appropriate records of clients in receipt of the service.
- To keep and maintain appropriate records in relation to all staff assigned to him/her including salaries, annual leave, sick leave, etc.
