Commercial Director – Energy/Renewables
Role Purpose
The Commercial Director will take a product centric approach to scale the services business and achieve commercial growth. This critical role will strive to set the business up for future success in new markets, utilising commercial and customer acumen to define and execute revenue and commercial strategies to grow market share and ultimately gross margin.
Key Accountabilities
· Articulate a vision of growth, with clear strategies and priorities, that is sustainable, profitable, and translated into measured KPIs and targets.
· Collaborate closely with both the services & sales teams to create new growth strategies and establish processes and mechanisms to define commercial delivery plans.
· Work with the Energy team to collaborate on the development of integrated attractive propositions which are operationally deliverable, profitable, and meet customer demands.
· Develop a commercial strategy to maximise the growth potential through an acquired installations business to accelerate growth in market share as we leverage both the business and the acquired businesses sales channels and installations capability.
· Build a strategic plan which can also contribute to the growth in the energy business by providing a one-stop-shop energy service offering to customers.
· Evaluate and develops new market initiatives and analyse business opportunities in both new and existing markets
· Collaborate with the different business units to identify and optimise cross-selling opportunities aligned to customer needs.
· Set commercial performance standards aligned to the strategy.
· Ensure close alignment with UK and develop strategies to build capabilities in Ireland and leverage the synergies that closer strategic alignment can bring.
· Oversee business development of new sources & partnerships for revenue growth and work with traditional channels to leverage cross-selling to our existing customer base to further improve customer outcomes and commercial ambitions

· Preferred knowledge and understanding of energy/renewable or net zero products & services
