Construction Solicitor
Offering hybrid working, and access to high quality work and a diverse client base, this is an opportune time to join our client, a mid tier firm in Dublin. They are currently growing their Construction team and are keen to attract qualified candidates who have a genuine interest in furthering/developing their career in this area of practice. Given the size of the team and the plans for the future, there is a real selling point in respect of the opportunity, autonomy and scope that this role affords the successful candidate.
You'll work closely with the Partner and a small, collaborative team - candidates with previous construction experience are preferred, but if you have commercial litigation and/or property experience, I would still welcome a call to discuss and share some further insights.
The role :
You’ll handle both transactional and contentious matters, managing client engagements with minimal yet supportive supervision. Your role will involve navigating a variety of dispute resolution processes, including adjudication, conciliation, mediation, court proceedings, and arbitration.
- Advise on both standard form and bespoke construction contracts.
- Draft and negotiate development agreements, professional appointments, collateral warranties, and other key project documents.
- Lead client engagements, ensuring smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Manage complex disputes and transactional work, while honing your expertise across both areas.
Candidates with varying experience levels are welcome provided you have a minimum of 2 years PQE in a relevant area of practice. Salary is dependent on experience but there is a strong overall package on offer.
If you are interested to discuss, please apply or reach out to Louise Morrissey in CPL for a confidential conversation and further insights.
