The role:
· Installing new Hiab loader equipment to ensure best possible fit for optimum performance.
· Reading engineering drawings and following installation guides for 24v electrical and hydraulic components.
· Commissioning of equipment following installation and completing stability checks.
· Generating inspection reports and test certificates to accompany vehicle upon completion.
· Completing thorough examinations and LOLER inspections of lifting equipment, carrying out load test in line with relevant ALLMI guidelines and EN12999 machinery directive regulations.
· Diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems during install stage.
What we’re looking for:
· Previous experience in a similar role (Service Technician, Crane/Plant fitter, Hydraulic Fitter/Engineer etc.)
· Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical (24v) systems.
· Good level of IT skills and experience using digital service tools.
· Previous experience of load handling and slinging would be desirable but not essential as full training can be provided
· Full UK Driving licence
