Credit Controller
Location: Dublin 1
Salary: €35k plus benefits (pension, bike to work, parking, on-site gym, subsidised canteen)
The permanent position is based in the Credit Control Department, Head Office, Dublin 1.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Monitor and manage the Credit Control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts on assigned portfolio of accounts.
· Contact customers via phone and email to follow up on overdue payments and resolve payment discrepancies.
· Conduct thorough credit checks on new/existing customers and assess credit risk.
· Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, payments and credit notes.
· Issuing of invoices, statements and credit notes to customers using established guidelines, deadlines and procedures.
· Prioritise and manage a challenging workload whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
· Liaison and communication with the Tourism Sales Team and the Freight sales teams.
· Assist in ad-hoc duties as required.
The Candidate:
· Excellent communication skills.
· Minimum 2 years prior experience in a credit control or related finance role.
· Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
· Deadline focused with ability to prioritise tasks and possess sound numerical skills.
· Flexible and multi-tasking ability to produce results.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in SAP is an advantage but not essential as training will be given on all systems.
