Cpl Healthcare is currently seeking applications for the role of Endoscopy nurse for a Cork city based hospital. As part of an expanding service, the successful candidate will be joining a one of Ireland’s top private hospital networks which delivers a full range of healthcare specialties including cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic and spine, emergency and out-patient services.
As the unit is increasing its opening hours from Monday to Saturday inclusive, our client is seeking to expand the team size. This is a fulltime permanent post working 4 days a week including Saturdays which will be on rotation.
To be considered for the role, interested applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Registered general nurse in the process of registering with or on the live register with the NMBI (Adaptation is not available for this role)
- Ideally 1+ years recent experience in an Endoscopy setting or similar clinical procedural area.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrable commitment to patient safety and quality
- Ability to work in a dynamic and intense environment that requires quick thinking and excellent analytical and assessment skills
- Ability to work on their own initiative and to be self motivated
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
