Field Sales – Solar
Our client specialise in the design, installation, and commissioning of residential and commercial solar PV and battery storage projects across Ireland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Solar Sales Executive or ambitious salesperson to grow with the business. The role will require a self-starter working in Cork and surrounding area. Our client is one of Irelands fastest growing renewable energy companies and are looking for bright enthusiastic people to join their team.
Our client is recruiting for professional salespeople to capture and create new business. There is a busy marketing schedule including trade exhibitions, to create enquiries and an awareness of our clients brand in the market.
Target markets for this role is predominately residential properties along with commercial properties in Ireland. The product range includes the market-leading Tier 1 Solar equipment including battery, quality PV modules and car chargers.
Profile:
An energetic, friendly, honest and detail-orientated person who is highly self-motivated. Capable of engaging customers and actively selling the product through a genuine passion for renewables and helping people lower their carbon footprint. Committed to growing our client’s business and building brand awareness by imparting a people-centred company values whilst at the same time showing real tenacity in reaching monthly targets.
Tasks:
- Visit a minimum of 12 homeowners who have enquired with the company, or generated, in a week. Surveying their homes generally within business hours, or in the early evening and Saturday where necessary. Providing a quote and securing the business.
- Design the optimum solution for the client (with help initially). Analysing electricity bills to right-size the PV array. Checking out the home for technical challenges.
- Handover projects to Project Manager and on-site construction teams for the successful delivery of the project. Provide the necessary level of detail.
Ideal Experience:
- Three years in a business to consumer sales position.
- Exposure to technical products and explaining their benefits.
- An understanding of energy efficiency products.
- Used to working with CRM software. Competent with Excel and Word.
Qualifications.
- Graduate level candidate (possibly technical)
- Formal sales training.
- Full driving licence.
