The Job:
As a key part of the operations leadership team & reporting directly to the CFO, your duties will be focused on managing the financial operations for 2 manufacturing sites in Ireland as well as leading & mentoring the 5 person accounts team & overseeing their ongoing duties.
More specifically you will have ownership of the month end & annual close processes, manage the AP & AR functions on both sites, ensure accuracy in financial operations, analyse corporate/business financial processes, provide financial insights & advice to the leadership team, control budgets & lead financial projects
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree qualified.
- Fully qualified accountant.
- 4-5+ years industry experience in a finance manager or financial controller role ideally. Senior accountants with people management experience will also be considered.
- Experience gained in a multinational manufacturing type of environment is a significant advantage.
- Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
- Experience/knowledge in using ERP systems would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative & manage projects.
The Offer:
This job is being offered as a 12 month contract basis with salary/overall package depending on skills/experience but expected to range up to approx. 85k. In addition there will be pension, healthcare entitlement, educational assistances & other benefits on offer.
This role will be a hybrid mix of 3 days in office in Shannon with 2 days working from home/remote.
Candidates without the relevant visa/work permit to live & work in Ireland will not be considered.
