We are currently recruiting for a Fire Protection & Fire Sprinkler Expert for our client based in Dublin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing sales and for providing technical support and expertise related to fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers and suppression systems. This role involves working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the proper design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales: Manage the sales of the Fire protection business with existing and new clients in current and new geographies
- Technical Support: Provide technical advice and guidance to clients, contractors, and internal teams regarding fire protection systems, with a particular focus on fire sprinklers, suppression systems, and related equipment.
- System Design: Assist in the design and specification of fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with European Standards and project requirements.
- Site Inspections: Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess fire protection needs, verify system installations, and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to fire protection systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
- Technical Presentations: Deliver presentations and technical training to clients and internal teams on fire protection solutions, system design, and maintenance best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, engineering, and installation teams to ensure that fire protection systems are designed and installed correctly and on schedule. Work with partners to ensure timely supply or product required.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all fire protection systems are compliant with current EU fire safety regulations, building codes, and relevant industry standards.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, system documentation, and drawings to support project proposals and installations.
- Client Liaison: Serve as a technical point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design and consultation to post-installation support.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire protection technologies, products, and industry advancements, particularly in sprinkler and suppression systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Certification in fire protection design is a plus.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a technical role within the fire protection or fire sprinkler industry.
- Strong understanding of fire sprinkler system design, installation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
Other Requirements
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required as the role involves travel to client sites.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently to various sites across the country and Europe.
