My client is a market-leading, all-island renewables group, providing services in Solar, External Wall, and Internal Insulation. Due to our continued growth and success, we are seeking a full-time Foreman to supervise our install teams.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, full-time Foreman to join our team. The role reports to the General Manager and will have responsibility for overseeing daily External Wall Insulation activities, managing site teams, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision: Oversee and coordinate renovation activities across six different house renovation sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure all construction work meets the company’s standards and complies with relevant regulations and codes.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and labourers. Ensure that all personnel are following project plans, safety guidelines, and quality expectations.
Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, check for defects or deviations from approved plans, and identify any potential issues early to mitigate risks.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records using photographic evidence of daily activities, site conditions, quality assurance reports, and any issues that arise. Report findings to the General Manager and suggest improvements where necessary.
Coordination: Work closely with all project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and quality standards. Facilitate communication between site teams and management.
Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures on all sites. Ensure all workers are adhering to safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Resource Management: Ensure proper use and care of materials, tools, and equipment. Coordinate deliveries and ensure the timely availability of required resources.
Problem Solving: Address any issues or problems that arise on the job site promptly and efficiently. Provide solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with homeowners or clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or questions.
Experience And Skills
Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a foreman or supervisory role preferably within residential construction.
Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in construction management or a related field is preferred.

Certifications
O Valid safe Pass qualification or equivalent
