My client within the HSE have an immediate requirement for a Grade VII Financial Accountant based in Kilkenny on an initial 9 month contract.
This role will be onsite with some flexibility following training.
Key tasks will include:
· Annual Financial Statements Process (Dec Year End)
· Audit – C&AG
· Project experience would be an advantage/SAP 4Hana systems experience
· Data analysis/Data cleansing in relation to transition to new Finance/Procurement system
· Month End Process
· Journal preparation
· Balance Sheet reconciliations
· Patient Income reconciliation
· Reconciliation of weekly/monthly files – Vendor payments/Payroll payment files
· Balancing of Bank to Ledger
· Bank payment authorisations
· Other Analytical work (eg. Aged Analysis/Reconciliation of various Reports to GL)
· Procurement Cards programme management (Staff credit cards)
· Cash-flow requirements (weekly requirements sent a week in advance) to HSE Corporate treasury
The ideal candidate will be:
· Ideally Qualified Accountant or Part Qualified ( ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
· Proactive in resolving issues with a can do attitude
