CPL are currently working closely with a highly progressive, industry leading manufacturing company locally based in Dungannon, County Tyrone to assist in the recruitment of a forward thinking and experienced Head of SHEQ.

You will have the opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the business as well as take part in some incredible projects across the next 5 years which would demonstrate the trajectory of the business growth.

Role Overview;

·       You will have a pivotal role in delivering and maintaining a robust SHEQ performance regime company wide.

·       Leading on all aspects of SHEQ performance, you will be responsible for ensuring continuous improvement to our in-house standards, systems and procedures, implementing legislative compliance and best practices across our multidisciplinary team.

·       You will play a key role in shaping our strategy and ensuring that the business is an exemplar of SHEQ in our industry, strengthening our current SHEQ legacy with your wide-ranging knowledge and experience.

What we are looking for;

·       NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) Level 6 in Occupational Safety and Health

·       ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 Internal Auditor (desirable)

·       10 years’ experience in an operational SHEQ role, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with minimum 5 years in a senior SHEQ role.

·       Thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable ISO and/or OSHA standards.

·       Full understanding of legal HSE policy and guidelines

·       Ability to translate strategic goals into objectives and pragmatic plans for

·       the business.

·       A natural leadership style with the ability to motivate, inspire and drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability whilst being willing to adopt a “sleeves rolled up” approach when necessary.

·       Willingness to travel internationally (as required)
