I am seeking a HR Business Partner to a dynamic organization with our client, a leading global healthcare company based in Galway who operate within the infectious disease and cardiometabolic sectors.
This role will be pivotal in supporting the site’s HR functions across multiple areas, including talent management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, compensation and benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
As HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with the leadership team and various departments to support HR strategies and initiatives that drive business success and a positive workplace culture. You will be responsible for the following key areas:
· Talent Management & Development: Partner with leaders to develop and implement strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
· Organizational Effectiveness: Contribute to organizational design efforts, supporting initiatives that optimize team performance and operational efficiency.
· Compliance & Legislation: Ensure full compliance with employment laws and regulatory requirements, guiding the business on best practices and legal obligations.
· Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business goals.
· HRIS & Employee Records: Manage and maintain employee records within the HRIS (Workday), ensuring data integrity and system accuracy.
· Employee Relations: Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment by fostering strong employee relations and resolving any issues that arise.
· Culture & Communication: Drive a culture of open communication, transparency, and teamwork to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
· External Partnerships: Engage with industry and academic partners when necessary to support talent acquisition and professional development efforts.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) membership is an advantage.
· A minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, with a focus on talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
· Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational design. Familiarity with HRIS systems, particularly Workday, is desirable
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to managing people and processes.
