HR Executive/Analyst
This is a great opportunity to join a North Cork business and be involved in all areas of HR supported by the HR Manager. You will be mostly autonomous in the role with full support from the HR Manager. Aside from the day-to-day HR function you will also have strong analytical skills collecting, compiling, and analysing HR data, metrics, and statistics across the business and applying this data to support decision-making related to recruitment, retention, engagement, diversity and policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics:
· You will be the onsite HR representative and participate in all areas of HR, but also very involved in collecting and compiling HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the time and attendance system, employee culture surveys, exit interviews, employment records, 1 to 1 coaching sessions, Training data base ( nVolve) and any other systems in place.
· Analyses data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
· Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to the HR manager
· Based on metrics and analysis, make recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organisational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
Recruitment/Onboarding/Retention/Review
Arrange and conduct induction for all new hires. This will include all aspects of the recruitment process from advertising to induction on site.
Data management
Data cleansing to ensure up to date and meaningful information on the systems to allow for correct and accurate reporting and data.
Compliance
Conduct and/or assist with internal HR compliance audits.
HR Support
You will be the point of contact for all HR queries and supported by the HR manager across more complex issues.
Key skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Excellent attention to detail
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent knowledge of MS office and the ability to create spreadsheets, graphs and presentations
· Proficient with or the ability to quickly navigate the organisation's software platforms e.g TMS, nVolve
· Strong administrative skills. A background and qualification in HR, Business Administration or related field.
