Cpl HR recruitment have an exciting requirement for an Industrial Relations Expert for a permanent part time role, offering hybrid working. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing information and advice to ensure compliance with employment legislation, and also represents members at third party meetings.
Role and responsibilities:
- Provide solutions to industrial disputes and support in managing third party hearings.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders, while working along side the People team
- Represent the organisation at third party hearings including the WRC.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on case law and developments in employment legislation
- Conduct investigations as the business requires
Skills and experience required:
- Candidates must have a relevant degree in HR/IR/Law or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally in industrial relations/employment law with past success supporting resolution of industrial disputes and other employee related issues.
- Previous experience working in a unionised environment (Highly desirable)
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Experience with Irish legislation is essential
