Inside Sales and BD Manager – Mallow

This is a ‘revenue creating’ opportunity via supporting the field sales personnel and working closely with marketing on seasonal campaigns and attending/supporting different events, it is also an opportunity to add value in terms of change, transformation and process improvement.
An understanding of agriculture is certainly a bonus but you will also have to enjoy working in an office environment.
Inside Sales function will ensure the highest level of sales performance & customer experience is achieved by:
- Leading & supporting key seasonal sales campaigns and sustainability initiatives across Agribusiness
- Supporting our customers & wider sales team through farm advisory & sales through phone, email, farm calls and events
- Collaborating across field and office teams to achieve wider team goals (to include ASM, Retail, Marketing and Mill Operations teams, core customer groupings, marketing, procurement, and finance functions)
- Leading development & integration of our CRM platform across sales & operations teams
- Support customers and team with our Gateway customer platform development and customer service
Requirements:
- Possess a 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Agricultural Science, Business or IT.
- Have previous role-related competence and experience.
- People management and expertise in customer service is essential for this role.
- Technical & Commercial CRM usage and development a distinct advantage
- Be proficient in MS Office suite : Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of software including Intact, CRM, Oracle EBIZ and Oracle reporting tool are a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrate great organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and see tasks through to completion.
- Be proficient in using business intelligence tool to interpret & analyse business performance data.
- Show resilience and be capable of dealing with pressurised situations and deadlines.
- Be a Strong Communicator with proven sales coaching and mentoring capability.
- Driven to use and develop technical knowledge to benefit our team, customers and suppliers.
