Interview Notetakers Required for Public Sector Interviews - Fixed term contract

Talent Evolution Group have opportunities for an Interview Notetaker on behalf of our clients across the Public and Semi-State Sector. We are currently seeking an Interview Notetakers to support our Public Sector and Semi-State clients with their in-person and remote interview processes. Most of our clients are based in Dublin and therefore most requests for in-person interviews will be within the Dublin area. Candidates will be engaged on a temporary contract basis as needed which makes this is great opportunity for those looking for flexibility.

The Role: 

This role is a fixed term contract for 4-6 months, with a view to extension.

In this role you will be required to note take for up to 7 interviews per day, with interviews taking place virtually or in person.

You will attend virtual interviews through Microsoft Teams or in-person interviews taking place in client offices and or in hotel boardrooms in a note taking capacity.

This role requires sharp listening skills and the ability to type notes quickly while listening during interviews. 

You are required to type notes in real time as the interview is taking place. E.g., document the question asked and answers provided by each candidate. 

Note taking is an integral part of the interview process to ensure that an interview is conducted in a fair and transparent manner. 

You may be required to support in documenting interview feedback and interview scores.

You may be required to support with interview time management.

You are not required to participate as an interview board member i.e., ask questions to the candidate in interview.

Training will be provided in advance of the interviews.

You may also be required to support with administrative duties for the TEG Public Sector Team on days where no interviews are assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Live Note taking in interviews and recording interview notes.
• Liaising with clients and applicants ensuring the interview process runs smoothly. 
• Recording candidate information accurately and updating records. 
• Assist in the day-to-day recruitment activities – responding to emails, handling applicant enquiries, proofreading documents, correcting notes etc. 
• Manage all administration associated with the role. 
• Assist with ad hoc duties. 

Administrative Responsibilities may include:

·       Monitor our dedicated client inboxes, responding to candidate queries in a timely manner.

·       Acknowledge and store candidate applications.

·       Issuing correspondence to candidates.

·       Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process.

·       Schedule interviews and prepare the required documentation.

Requirements for the Role:

• Experience working in an administrative role.
• Outstanding attention to detail and fast and accurate typing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to multi-task, balance priorities and take responsibility for the completion of any task. 
• Experienced working with Microsoft Office.
• Have a can-do and positive attitude.
• Must have a private and quite space for attending virtual interviews.
• Must be willing to attend in person interviews taking place in Dublin.
