Role
- To maintain condition and performance of automation cells, Robotics and Vision inspection systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment to find faults and repair them in timely manner
- Carry out preventive and reactive maintenance and document it
- Optimise machine cycle times and lead other process improvements
- Participate in development and commissioning of automated equipment
- Maintain adequate spare parts stock levels
- Assist developing technical documentation
- Carry out changeover of machines in line with production schedule
Experience
- Relevant experience in manufacturing environment (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation)
- Working experience with robots and machine vision inspection systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate with MS Office skills
- Experience commissioning and optimising new equipment
