New role : Maintenance Engineer required for production facility in Dun Laoghaire.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team supporting the mechanical/ electrical running of the production facility, including day to day breakdown, PPM, equipment updates, new installations and building/infrastructure upgrades. This is a 2 cycle shift role with on-call work to provide cover for emergency breakdowns and shutdown periods. This is a company with great career progression.

Role
• Will carry out preventative maintenance on all equipment ensuring they are kept to high standard and provide reactive maintenance to all plant equipment.
• Work closely with production management to ensure all maintenance work is prioritised correctly and carried out in a timely manner
• Ensure that all breakdowns are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible
• Maintain maintenance paperwork and ensure all documentations is up to date and accurate
• Ensure that as part of the Engineering team, always look to improve equipment performance, reliability, and running costs for replacement parts and consumables.
• Undertake repairs to equipment in a safe and timely manner ensuring that Production is constantly updated on progress.
• Undertake remedial engineering works to equipment or site as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
• Ensure any risks of safety or failure of equipment or site are communicated to the Manager.
• Work with the Senior Engineer and Engineering Manager to ensure that contractors are working safely on site and adhering to site Health and Safety rules and procedures.
• Report any incidents, accidents and near misses in accordance with Health and Safety Policies.
• Maintain knowledge of all spare parts on site for plant.
