Mapping & Charting Officer
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for Mapping & Charting Officer’s (E01 Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract, with possibility of extension.
· Pay Rate - £15.97 per/hr
· Location – DoF, LPS OSNI - Geospatial Systems
· Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
· Hours – 37 hours per week
The Spatial NI Mapping and Charting Officer is responsible for a variety of the following activities, which include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities will include:
· Creation and publication of OSNI web services for government and third-party users.
· Provision of customer support.
· Construction and support of mapping applications for government customers.
· Update of cached services.
· Management of INSPIRE web services.
· Server management.
Essential Experience/Qualifications
Experience of utilising GI software, e.g. Esri ArcGIS Pro, Esri ArcMap, QQIS, Map Info.
Desired Experience/ Qualifications
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
• Esri ArcGIS Enterprise including Portal, ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Pro;
• Esri ArcGIS Online (AGOL)
• OSNI Address Management, including the OSNI Pointer product
