On behalf of our client, a global pharmaceutical company, we are currently recruiting for a Market Access Manager.
The purpose of the role is to support & devise the local market access strategy and ensure timely execution of the market access deliverables for the assigned products/indications. This role will report to the Head of Market Access and Government Affairs. The focus will mainly be on the Oncology pipeline.
Responsibilities:
· Build & execute market access strategies for pipeline, launch & existing products
· Lead the full reimbursement process for new products/indications with key external stakeholders (NCPE, CPU, NCCP) including development of rapid review, HTA & negotiation strategy and implementation.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality reimbursement dossiers
· Develop pricing strategies in accordance with global pricing guidelines and set optimal list and net prices to ensure that planned reimbursement and market access can be achieved
· Monitor and keep up to date with new developments in HEOR/HTA methodology & Irish healthcare policy that could impact company products
· Attend local conferences to understand the environment and current trends, interact with stakeholders etc.
Requirements
· University Degree in (Health) Economics, Health Science, Pharma or related discipline
· A Min of 2 years professional experience within market access or health economics in the pharmaceutical industry or related organization
· Technical knowledge and training in HEOR methods along with a comprehensive understanding of the Irish market access environment
· Experience in managing and driving reimbursement applications with the HSE and engagement with relevant stakeholders (NCPE, CPU, NCCP & MMP)
· Technical capability in cost effective modelling & budget impact modelling including basic model adaptation
· Experience in commercial negotiations would be an advantage
