Role: Meetings Associate (Pharma)

Duration: 12 Months
Rate: £26.64 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the UK & ROI Cardio Metabolic Health Business Unit in executing the SOA Sponsorship plan, including contracting, content creation and approval, payment, and meeting logistics with internal teams and external providers.
· Own UK & ROI company owned marketing meetings, prioritizing tasks, materials, and deliverables. Liaising with internal teams (CMS, NTAs and local commercial field teams) to provide remarkable Healthcare Professional experiences.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (E&C, Legal, Hub Leadership Team signatories, SOA Sponsorship organisations, vendors) to ensure timely, efficient and compliant execution of planned activities.
· Oversee the creation, processing, approval, and distribution of meeting materials to support the events.
· Identify and address barriers to delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensure execution excellence of the Customer Plan/Operational Plan.
· Engage with local brand team to fully utilize Global/IBU content, partnering with local brand and medical colleagues to localise and approve a full range of local HCP materials in line with the ABPI code of practice.
· Track and manage individual project budgets and associated operating expenses.
· Ensure understanding, implementation, and adherence to company policies, processes, and external obligations, as applicable.
· Utilize technology and tools proficiently, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Veeva Promomats.
· Plan months in advance to manage multiple stakeholders effectively and prepare the SOA and company owned meetings operational plan for subsequent years.

Required Skills & Experience:
· 2+years of experience in project management in a heavily regulated environment (ideally previous or current project/operations in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting company e.g. scientific communications, healthcare consultancy, events).
· Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to prioritise tasks as per business need.
· Excellent planning & organisation skills to execute tasks within set timelines.
· High Attention to detail and demonstrated operational acumen.
· Ability to manage small to medium scale projects, often balancing multiple deliverables
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when liaising with internal & external stakeholders.
· Strong team player as well as being able to work independently.
· Experience of working in a virtual / multi-national organisation.
· Experience of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
· Accurate and reliable way of working with high accountability in owning end-to-end process.
· Speak and write fluent English.
· Competency in areas such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
· Plan to be in the office 3 days per week
Desirable Skills & Experience:
· Knowledge of certain technologies such as Veeva Promomats, Mercury and/or other relevant software for the pharmaceutical industry.
· Knowledge of the NHS and overall healthcare system in the UK, esp. the pharmaceutical industry.
· Experience planning and executing medical/marketing pharma events (e.g. meetings, conferences, virtual webinars), in particular from operations/logistics perspective.
· Understanding of the compliance framework & considerations relating to pharmaceutical industry operations (e.g. ABPI code, advertising of medicines) and specifically Sponsorship contracting.
· Knowledge of e-P2P Platform and other IT platforms e.g. webinar technology.
