Physiotherapists – Ireland Nationwide

Ireland's national public health and social care provider, the Health Service Executive (HSE) are currently recruiting for Physiotherapists at Basic and Senior Grade level for a number of permanent positions within the primary, acute and disabilities sector on a nationwide basis across Ireland.

Primary care Physiotherapy

· Working as a Physiotherapist, you will support patients in the community to be as independently and functionally safe as possible. The service is provided either in the clinic or home setting as appropriate. Physiotherapists treat specific problems such as muscle and joint injury, back pain with chest conditions and any problems that affect balance or mobility.

Acute Care Physiotherapy

· Working within an acute setting, as a Physiotherapist, you will provide a high-quality physiotherapy service for inpatients and some outpatients in order to help and support patients in promoting their independence and their return to previous physical, psychological and social function.

The Physiotherapist will ensure patients are discharged from hospital, or transferred to other community-based services in a safe and timely way.

The Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) provides specialist support and services for children who have a disability and complex needs.

Speciality areas include, but are not limited to:

•Medical

•Surgical

•Critical care (including intensive care)

•Paediatrics

•Elderly care

•Neurology

•Women's health

Senior Physiotherapists will be required to assist in service development as well as supervise and train junior staff.

· Competitive salary between €41,075 - €70,033 depending on experience

Candidates interested in the role must have:

•A recognised qualification as a Physiotherapist and professional registration in your country of practice

•Eligible to apply for registration as a Physiotherapist with CORU (www.coru.ie), the Health & Social Care Professionals regulatory authority in Ireland

•Ideally a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience as a Physiotherapist including a significant amount of experience working within a community, acute and/or disability setting
