Project Manager – Energy Development
Role Purpose
As Project Manager, you will oversee the management and delivery of upstream energy projects, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of capital investments aligned with Net Zero targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development and delivery of Net Zero projects, including Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, Energy Storage, Carbon Capture, Biomethane, and Biofuels.
- Coordinate design, permitting, procurement, and construction activities with technical experts.
- Oversee project costs, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Drive upstream business development through land acquisition, planning oversight, and technical feasibility assessments.
- Provide updates to executives and stakeholders through detailed project delivery plans.
- Collaborate across internal departments (Finance, Trading, Legal, Technical) to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Maintain knowledge of key commercial and regulatory drivers for upstream energy assets.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in energy project management, including conventional and renewable projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in project planning, risk management, and business case development.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- 3rd Level Qualification in a relevant discipline required.
