Job Title: QC Team Lead (12-Month Maternity Cover)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QC Team Lead to cover a 12-month maternity leave. The successful candidate will oversee the Quality Control team, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards while managing day-to-day lab operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the QC team in daily operations.
- Review batch records, laboratory investigations, deviations, and CAPAs.
- Manage QC workload and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Oversee validation protocols, product transfers, and controlled documentation.
- Troubleshoot laboratory equipment (UV-Vis, IR, HPLC, GC).
- Prepare for and support regulatory audits (e.g., HPRA).
- Train and develop QC personnel.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a QC role within a GMP-regulated environment.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and analytical instruments.
- Experience with regulatory audits is an advantage.
