Reliability Engineer
The Reliability Engineer ensures continuous improvement in reducing equipment and utility-related risks, supporting the maintenance excellence program, and ensuring engineering compliance across the site.
Responsibilities:
- Support the integration of MEP (Maintenance Excellence Program) into the site culture.
- Implement procedures for compliant equipment maintenance and monitor system performance.
- Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as asset utilization, maintenance costs, and compliance.
- Utilize predictive maintenance technologies and conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA), RCM, FMEA, and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
- Train employees on reliability processes and promote ongoing preventive maintenance education.
- Analyze failure history to develop long-term solutions for recurring issues.
- Provide reliability specifications for new equipment and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Manage Engineering Change Control processes to avoid non-conformances.
- Proficiently use Computer Maintenance Management System (Maximo) for tracking and analysis.
Requirements:
- A third-level qualification in Engineering or relevant discipline or a trade qualification with over six years of engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience for those with a third-level qualification.
- Strong IT skills, problem-solving ability, and innovative thinking required.
- High attention to detail, results-driven with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy.
- Commitment to quality, integrity, and maintaining high standards.
- Understanding of cGMP, HPRA/FDA regulations, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
