Duties and Responsibilities
Global financial services and investment organisation based in Galway is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team on a long-term rolling contract. This is a hybrid position, and candidates are expected to be in a commutable distance from the office location in Galway.
As a Scrum Master, you’ll be a part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum team within a division of Fidelity. You will advise and lead the squads on Agile values, practices and processes to ensure that the squad is fully functional, productive, and focused on the sprint goal.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree/undergraduate degree/equivalent required.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required
- Strong proficiency and experience with encouraging Agile behaviours, reinforcing practices, norms, ceremonies, and supporting the overall Squad performance and efficiency
- Agile/Scrum Fundamentals
- Understanding of JIRA/Kanban boards
- Identifying team improvement opportunities and looking externally for best practices to support continuous improvement
- Candidates must be based in Ireland with full work rights to apply
