My client a Public Sector body has an immediate vacancy for a Senior Accountant initially on a 12 month contract with potential and based in Dublin 2/hybrid.
This is an exciting opportunity in the Core Finance Team and will report to the Financial Controller.
Within this department the Core Finance team are responsible for
overseeing all payments
The team is also responsible for the annual budgeting process, internal
monthly reporting, forecasting and preparation of year end statutory accounts.
The ideal candidate will be:
· A fully qualified accountant with membership of an accountancy body (eg. ACA, ACCA,CIMA)
· 5 years’ post qualification experience.
· Experience working as part of a core finance function in a relevant industry
· Strong systems experience
