This Role is for a very experienced and skilled Axiom Developer to work in the EMEA Finance Technology team at a leading financial institution. You will join of a collaborative team based in Dublin Ireland, this team continues to grow (nobody has ever left this team yet) and you will be working on some of the most critical projects within Finance Tech. This position is best suited for an experienced Axiom developer with a strong ability to build business-critical systems, with emphasis on stability and performance. Bank of America are one of the Deepest and most complex users of Axiom and are looking to hire a very talented individual for this role.
As an Axiom Developer your main responsibilities will involve:
Designing and developing Axiom solutions to help solve complex business problems Contributing to Proof of Concept involving Axiom development and finding opportunities of automation and working closely with business users, business analysts and development colleagues to develop best in class regulatory reporting solutions. You will also need a strong understanding of sysadmin and platform support knowledge.
As an Axiom Developer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Axiom Controller View (7+ years experience)
And
· Oracle PL/SQL (Advanced level)
· Exceptional Axiom development experience
· Taxonomy Experience (5+ years)
· Knowledge of EU regulatory reporting requirements (COREP and FINREP strongly preferred will also consider AnaCredit/Statistical)
· Strong understanding of Linux based Commands
· Understanding of financial products and asset classes
· Familiarity with XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language
· Agile development experience
· Migration and infrastructure experience
