The Senior Devops Engineer will assist in the development and deployment of my clients automated deployments which underpin the organization's corporate functions. The focus of the role will be to support major programs of work to validate and test pipelines to deploy cloud-based systems
Role Responsibilities:
· Responsible for implementation of deployment pipelines from Dev to Production in an on- prem, hybrid or cloud environment.
· Responsible for automated installation and configuration of deployment environments using Terraform/Ansible.
· Ensuring code readiness and validate against checklist for code promotion to higher
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Essential
• An IT degree or recognized qualification in a relevant technical discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in delivering and/or operating database solutions
• Strong experience in building and maintaining deployment pipelines using Terraform, Jenkins, Groovy Scripting
• Gitlab
• Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools – Splunk, Dynatrace - for performance analysis or Root Cause Analysis
• Working experience in Configuration Management Tools – Chef/Ansible/Puppet
• Experience in Cloud Foundry, PCF
• Strong capability and experience in Azure.
