Financial Services and Asset Management company based in Dublin City Center is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. This is a hybrid role. Full job spec available.
Responsibilities
· Supporting development teams on the Jenkins Kubernetes instances
· Developing new Pipelines, and maintaining existing Pipelines (Groovy script Jenkins Libraries)
· Maintenance and updates on the various tools (SonarQube, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Coverity, Blackduck)
· Integration of tools into legacy and on-premises Kubernetes stacks
· Participation in the definition of CI/CD workflows on the Azure cloud.
· Work with the CICD team to offer a coherent and complete stack (Monitoring, security, logging, etc.)
· Documentation and knowledge sharing
· 3rd Level support and issue resolution on solutions as required
Experience
· Third-level qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science or an equivalent IT discipline.
· DevOps Expertise: Hands-on experience with IT operational automation, configuration management tools, and a strong understanding of DevOps practices, processes, and tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD, Artifactory, Sonarqube, Jenkins, etc.)
· Experience developing web applications, specifically with technologies including Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot framework would be beneficial
· Containerization Proficiency: Experience in building containers using Dockerfiles
· Kubernetes Deployment: Working knowledge of deploying applications within a Kubernetes cluster using ArgoCD / Helm
· Monitoring and Logging Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana, Elasticsearch (ES), Kibana, etc., to enhance observability and troubleshooting.
· Linux Proficiency: Experience in Linux system administration and support within enterprise IT environments
· Scripting: Bash shell, Groovy
