Senior Mechanical Engineer – Limerick (Hybrid)

About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a client with a national presence. This is an opportunity to take a leadership role in delivering high-quality mechanical design projects while mentoring engineers and driving innovation in building services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full mechanical design across projects of various sizes.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with Irish building regulations.
- Manage project costs, budgets, and timelines effectively.
- Oversee project teams and cross-functional teams.
- Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and technical surveys.
- Collaborate with teams across multiple locations.
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum requirement).
- 6+ years of experience in Building Services Consultancy Design.
- Strong expertise in water services, HVAC, LTHW, fuel systems, drainage, and BMS.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations, particularly TGD Parts B, F, G, and L.
- Experience with thermal modelling, energy assessments, and dynamic energy modelling (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BIM software (strong advantage).
- Chartership is desirable but not essential.
