Fantastic and immediate day rate contract opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager with experience operating at Programme level and with a proven track record leading successful web and mobile app projects within the FS Sector. Hybrid role, requirement to be onsite in Dublin 2-3 days per week.
You will support my client as they undergo a major technology transformation. Working within my clients IT Division, leading out critical digital projects to enhance the range of financial services and retail operations available.
Skills required
Min 5 years proven experience managing complex IT projects to completion. Knowledge of web and mobile app projects is essential as is previous experience in Financial services.
Experience leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external stakeholders and third parties
Possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills across all levels with ability to influence
Strong project financial management skills
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent preferred , formal Project Management qualification
Role
Use best practice governance methodology to manage and deliver project initiatives
Contribute to creation of business cases, project charters, proposals, quotes, estimates and project budgets
Ensure the required resources are identified and available to the project
Provide clear and concise status reporting regarding project planning, project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, and budgets
Prepare and issue status reports (including Weekly Update Reports, Steering Reports, Closure Reports etc.) on agreed schedules to the Steering Group and PMO
Accept full project lifecycle ownership across assigned projects / programs
Work with multiple 3rd parties to ensure that they deliver on time.
Manage stakeholder involvement throughout the project to ensure success
Provide leadership in promoting collaboration and communication across teams
Ability to deliver results under pressurised timelines
