We are currently accepting CVs from experienced Support Workers/ Senior Support Workers who would be interested in the position of Senior Support Worker/Team Leader. Successful candidate will assist the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisation mission statement and values and support and manage the staff team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
The perfect candidate will have:
- A Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Knowledge of CHR and QS
- Knowledge of the Children Act and other relevant legislation and Awareness of Equal Opportunities/ADP issues
- Team building Skills
- Ability to manage teams effectively
- Ability to motivate and enthuse staff
- 12 months relevant supervisory experience
- 12 months experience of working in a residential setting with challenging behaviour
