We are seeking to recruit an experienced, commercially minded Technical Manager (Electrical Specialist) ideally from an civil/ construction background.

Roles & Responsibilities;
- Manage the Technical team, implementing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Provide technical expertise on installation.
- Develop scope, tender, and pricing documents for clients/subcontractors.
- Review bill of materials for accuracy and cost efficiency.
- Assist customers through survey and purchasing process.
- Act as a technical expert, liaising with suppliers, contractors, and DNOs.
- Oversee the DNO application process and provide updates.
- Ensure compliance with standards, RAMS, policies, and environmental plans.
- Bridge technical and field operations, managing survey volumes and SLAs.
- Support strategic and commercial evaluation of projects and products.
- Develop technical training for customer service and support teams.
- Manage projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate complex topics clearly for diverse audiences.
- Engage and present effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive innovation for efficiency and quality improvements.
- Analyse and resolve customer service issues, recommending improvements.
What we are looking for;
- BSc Electrical Engineering / Civil Engineering or NVQ Level 3-7 with relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of BS7671 and associated IET guidance for EV charging.
- Previous people management experience.
- Proven project management experience with a keen eye for technical detail.
- Experience in tendering/pricing projects.
- Experience with DNO applications in NI and ROI.
- Experience with grid infrastructure and electrical LV infrastructure.
- Competent to interpret technical specifications for projects and equipment.
- Knowledge of technology and regulatory requirements.
- Full clean UK Driving License.
