Our client a medical device manufacturing facility in Swords, requires a Test Equipment Development Engineer
Role
- Will design & assemble largely automated test fixtures (comprising full electromechanical and software elements) ensuring they meet quality and safety standard (CE marking).
- Responsible for improving existing test fixture designs to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Create requirements and robust designs to meet business needs, while developing validation and verification plans which ensure test fixture functionality and reliability.
- Analyze test data to determine and eliminate root cause of issues.
Requirements:
- Experience in a test fixture development role.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering technical discipline
- Strong manufacturing, mechanical/electromechanical/ automation design skillset.
- Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as Labview, C, C++, C
