Solutions Architect ( Payments ) - 12 month Day Rate contract -Excellent rate
Payments Experience required
The role
- Under a hybrid working model, work as part of a highly skilled team of payment solution architects in a dynamic payments environment across all payment types for multiple jurisdictions using various technologies
- Opportunity to take ownership of a technical solution by collaborating with relevant architecture and business to ensure that the correct solution is identified, designed and delivered.
- Shape and agree the solution architecture, ensuring alignment with Architecture Roadmaps, strategies, principles and standards.
- Produce the required solution architecture artefacts - Architecture Design, Architecture Review Board inputs, Security Review inputs etc. and bring to the Architecture Review Board for Approval
- Guide the solution design and engage with partners at all levels to ensure the solution identified is fully understood and supported by all, aligned to the business need, is fit for purpose and provides value for investment made.
Requirements
- You have a solid technical background with proven experience in solution architecture and a strong understanding of the payment domain including cross border and domestic payments, SWIFT messages and ISO20022.
- You have experience in middleware technologies such as JBOSS, WebSphere, MQ and Mulesoft also database technologies such as Oracle Exadata and MongoDB.
- You have a demonstrated understanding of risk management and excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to make technical conversations relevant to business and vice versa.
Desirable
- You have a number of years Solution Design experience and ideally experience in enabling payment engines from the Finastra Suite of products (GPPSP, GPPHC, GPPMP and GPP Fusion).
- You have knowledge of all elements of payment lifecycles.
