Lessons learnt from endurance
Shane, who is the owner of Shane Finn Training & co-founder of WK Fitness, discussed how the skills he has developed through his training can be applied to a business environment. Shane uses a technique called the 'Power List' which encourages you to complete 5 critical tasks each day. These tasks don't need to be all work related and should try to incorporate personal development also. Shane also spoke about the importance of goal setting, learning from failures and the power of perseverance.
Jeanne Murphy from Contracting Plus after the event commented, 'Thank you so much for the invite to last night's event. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was completely buzzed by Shane. He is a phenomenal guy and I definitely got some good takeaways.'
Workplace wellness and wellness programs arebecoming increasingly important for employers and employees. When workers feel like their health and wellness are prioritised at work, this translates into higher engagement and productivity. Shane has worked with a number of corporate clients to help both them and their staff reach their goals.
