Our client has an urgent requirement for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. Excellent opportunity for the right candidate!
Key responsibilities:
· Ability to manage the day-to-day accounting of the organisation
· Financial reporting and liaising with management
· Assist with monthly management accounts and presentation to senior management
· Monthly payroll processing
· Statutory / Revenue reporting, filing on timely basis
· Ability to manage month end journals and GL reconciliations and bank reconciliations
· Assisting with external audit
· An ability to work collaboratively with finance and management teams, ensuring all financial data and reporting is delivered with the highest degree of integrity and accuracy within agreed timeframes.
· An excellent knowledge of Excel would be an advantage. Also knowledge of payroll systems and accounting software would be essential.
· A qualification in a diploma for accounting or Accounting Technicians or an equivalent qualification would be required.
