Cpl Healthcare in partnership with University Hospitals Birmingham is currently recruiting for a Category Manager ( Medical / Surgical) to work closely with and report to the Head of Procurement. The successful candidate will be required to
- Develop & implement processes to facilitate and monitor contracts
- Manage internal operations & resources ensuing the delivery of the saving targets and work plans
- Implement change where required
- Ensure procurement is continuously improving the service delivered to stakeholders etc
Interested candidates must have,
- Degree qualification
- CIPS level 4 Graduate Diploma is desirable but not essential
- Previous /recent procurement experience in medical surgical procurement is essential
- Experience in negotiating complex contracts, working in a customer focused environment is necessary
- Good knowledge of contract management
- Knowledge of best practice in procurement and supply is essential
- Computer literate
