Our client is looking for a highly motivated and commercially driven Sales Leader with a proven track record in securing contracts for energy installations with major developers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a minimum of €10 million worth of contracts annually and must have the experience, industry network, and drive to hit the ground running. They require someone who can secure tenders, negotiate contracts, and drive large-scale project wins in a fast-paced and competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Tendering
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and property development sectors.
- Lead the tendering process, preparing compelling bids to secure installation contracts.
- Build strong relationships with procurement teams, project managers, and decision-makers at major construction firms.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and position the company as the go-to energy partner for large-scale developments.
- Ensure all bids are commercially competitive while maintaining profitability and operational efficiency.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Secure €10 million+ in new contracts annually through tenders, direct negotiations, and long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, finance, and technical) to deliver projects efficiently and profitably.
- Develop and execute a commercial sales strategy that aligns with the company’s growth targets.
- Ensure sales processes are streamlined, professional, and data-driven to maximize conversion rates.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key commercial liaison between the company and major developers, ensuring strong client relationships.
- Attend industry networking events, exhibitions, and meetings to expand the company’s presence in the market.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and high client satisfaction.
Key Requirements
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- Proven track record in securing contracts for electrical, HVAC, or renewable energy projects within the construction sector.
- Strong existing relationships with Ireland’s leading developers and construction firms.
- Extensive experience in public and private sector tendering, including framework agreements and large-scale contract negotiations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of contract negotiation and sales strategy.
- Ability to identify, target, and close high-value deals in a competitive marketplace.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a passion for growing a business.
- Strong financial awareness, able to price projects profitably while remaining competitive.
- Ability to work autonomously and at pace, delivering results without excessive handholding.
