We are opening a 12 month contract role as ‘Senior Digital Communications Manager’ to support our ‘International Corporate Communications’ team across all markets outside of the US.
We are looking for a digitally savvy candidate with strong skills in website and social media channels, including - architecture, content building, listening and analysis, metrics platforms, strategic omni channel management and basic understanding of algorithms. Ideally with experience in the healthcare sector.
The International Corporate Communications team is comprised of 60+ employees spanning across +25 markets from Japan to Latin America, Europe, Canada, and Asia (all markets with the exception of the US). We are a very diverse team in respects to culture, background, capabilities, and structure.
The broad remit of our in-market Corporate Communications teams is to support the commercial organization covering - developing the communications strategy and execution for employee engagement, external communications (media and owned), disease awareness and corporate reputation. In addition, we cover patient advocacy engagement (in most markets), and support for external environment shaping in partnership with Market Access and Government Affairs/policy ex-US.
We are also accountable for the management of the corporate website and corporate social media channels. The ‘Senior Digital Communications Specialist’ role is to provide the strategic and technical capabilities in support of the communications teams in order to optimize and maximize the channels in engaging with our stakeholders.
This role requires a level of experience to manage across a large matrix organization working with digital colleagues in our Worldwide head office in the US, IT colleagues, external providers and a ‘Digital Task Force’ (DTF) working group of digital corporate communicators across the markets.
You will work with the DTF sponsor and DTF lead day to day, with a percentage of time to hands on support the UK market with their needs.
Main responsibilities:
• Providing counsel and hands on shaping of the DTF strategy - to enable our corporate website and social media channels to deliver on our communications objectives for our target stakeholders • Providing counsel and hands on support in optimizing the corporate websites architecture, content and execution including tracking tools and SEO strategy • Proving counsel and hands on support on best practice social media channel and content management to optimize impact on our stakeholders • To advise on and help implement an omnichannel digital strategy considering the PESO (paid, earned, shared, and owned) model • To work with worldwide in order to propose and implement a listening, analysis, and metrics framework to give direction on content needs, development, and performance • To work with worldwide to realign and enforce the social channel operating model and channel standards • To devise a programme to help upskill the capability of the market corporate communications team in digital channel content and execution • To work with external providers in reviewing and setting up social media channel management and systems • To work with worldwide business insights and analytics in metrics platforms and ways of working - experience with AEM and Sprinklr ideal • To support in the day-to-day management of the DTF working for the lead in helping run ‘steering meetings’ and ‘exchange forums’ for best practice development and capability upskilling • To Keep up with the latest trends and exploratory competitive analysis and onwards inform and educate the market teams
Desired competence and experience:
