Dublin Terminal Assets Manager
As Terminal Assets Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and the management of the design, budgeting, procurement and implementation of all terminal maintenance and capital projects.
You will ensure that projects are managed in a safe and efficient manner, to enable the import by ship and road, storage, and discharge of fuels to our downstream customer business.
Main Duties will include
· Ensure all required EHS regulatory compliance is addressed throughout the terminal and that all safety policies, procedures and assessments are maintained and reviewed periodically
· Promote a culture of Zero incidents through active engagement and near miss reporting, as well as supporting safety initiatives that will ensure the Company objective of safe and efficient operations
· Liaise with relevant regulatory bodies such as local authorities, Health and Safety Authority, Environmental Protections Agency and competent bodies as required
· Support the design, implementation and coordination of training modules and the rollout of EHS training programmes as required within the terminal.
· Ensure that there are effective Emergency plans and procedures in place
· Ensure that Management of Change procedures are up to date and effective
· Collaborate with the Terminal Team to achieve and maintain an excellent safety culture Projects
· Management of assigned Terminal maintenance and capital projects, which require liaison and approval with multiple disciplines within the business and with external consultants.
· Manage external consultants and procure engineering and specialty maintenance services as required
· Ensure effective project management and compliance in relation to COMAH, ATEX and Safety, and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations
· Perform risk assessments and site-specific inspections to ensure compliance with all EHS work permits, policies and regulatory requirements.
· Capital expenditure planning, budget management & cost control will form part of the normal project and operational activity.
The successful candidate will have:
· Project management experience managing technical projects in a safety critical role
· EHS experience, especially in the area of legal compliance and risk assessment
· Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and make considered decisions
· Be analytical and realistic in the interpretation of information for future plans
· Capital expenditure planning, budget management & cost control
· Knowledge of COMAH, ATEX & Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application)
· EHS qualification desirable
· Technical / Engineering qualification desirable
