Financial Accountant

Our client, a major engineering/manufacturing multinational, based in Co. Limerick, have now engaged with us in Cpl to hire a Financial Accountant to join the accounts & finance team & help to drive ongoing business growth.
The Job:
As a key part of the accounting team, you will report directly to the FC & cover a broad range of duties including, but not limited to, the preparation of monthly management accounts, handling budget & forecasting processes, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory/compliance reporting, liaising with external auditors, delivering on finance projects (including capital spend projects) & support the Financial Controller in their strategic duties.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree qualified ideally.
- Fully qualified Accountant with at ideally 1-2+ years industry experience.
- Experience gained in the multinational manufacturing or engineering sectors would be an advantage.
- Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative & engage with senior management colleagues on projects.
The Offer:
Salary will depend on candidate skills & experience & in addition there is a strong benefits package of significant pension contribution, private health cover, annual bonus & other allowances.
This role will be fully office based for the initial 6mths training/onboarding period but will then revert to 2 days office based & 3 days working from home/remote.
Candidates on restricted visas/work permits will not be considered.
