Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key liaison between accounting, tax, and fintech teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develop country-specific Business Requirement documents that outline project scope, requirements, and address automation queries.
- Test automated financial reports against underlying records, using technology to optimize processes and build exception reports.
- Work closely with functional and system teams to assess the impact of automation and process changes, effectively communicating insights to accounting and tax teams.
- Drive the standardization and continuous improvement of financial reporting and tax compliance processes, ensuring adherence to US and local GAAP standards.
- Anticipate potential challenges, manage escalations, and balance business needs with technical feasibility.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in accounting, preferably from a Big Four firm or within a multinational organization.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
- Proven ability to manage projects, adhere to deadlines, and ensure successful project milestones.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
