We’re seeking a Head of IT OT Infrastructure Operations & Engineering to spearhead global IT operations and drive cutting-edge innovation in infrastructure services.
This is a contract role starting at the end of February and running through December 2025. It offers a unique opportunity to influence IT infrastructure at a global scale while working in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Your Mission:
As the Head of IT OT Infrastructure Operations & Engineering, you will lead a high-performing global team responsible for delivering robust and secure IT infrastructure solutions across: ✅ Data Centers
✅ Servers, Storage & Backup
✅ Network (LAN, WAN, Firewall, Voice services)
You will shape the strategic agenda, drive operational excellence, and ensure technical advancements in modern technology practices, security, and architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead a global team (5-10 direct reports, 20 indirect reports) to manage IT infrastructure operations & engineering
🔹 Ensure high availability, security, and integrity of infrastructure services
🔹 Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvements
🔹 Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
🔹 Manage a budget of approx. $10M USD for IT infrastructure services
🔹 Partner with IT leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business needs
🔹 Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the IT organization
What You Bring:
✔ 10+ years of IT leadership experience in global infrastructure operations
✔ Expertise in VMware vSphere, Windows & Linux Servers, Storage, and Backup
✔ Strong understanding of network architecture, security, and cloud networking
✔ Proven track record in managing global IT teams & vendor relationships
✔ Strategic mindset with a focus on efficiency, automation, and simplification
✔ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
✔ Fluency in English & German (Business level)
