Cpl Recruitment are currently looking for a HR Executive to join a service organisation on a permanent basis in Ballincollig, Cork. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. . The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day to day Human Resources activities of the hotel. The HR Executive will report to the General Manager and the Group Human Resources Manager.
Responsibilities Required:
· Manage the daily operations of the HR department.
· Promote employee engagement through clear communication and team management.
· Respond to employee queries in a timely manner.
· Support Heads of Department with recruitment, training, performance management, and team development.
· Oversee recruitment, including advertising, screening, and onboarding.
· Ensure new employees have all necessary documents and training for a smooth onboarding experience.
· Maintain up-to-date employee files and aim for a paperless HR system.
· Ensure compliance with training requirements and arrange refresher training.
· Coordinate training sessions as needed.
· Advise on disciplinary processes and handle employee grievances, consulting the Group HR Manager when required.
· Submit weekly payroll to the payroll department.
· Assist with the delivery of group-wide HR projects in the hotel.
· Maintain positive communication with Heads of Department and management.
· Monitor and manage employee absenteeism.
Experience Required:
· A qualification in Human Resources Management or currently studying towards one.At least 3 years of experience working in an HR role or HR department.
· Good understanding of Irish employment law and best practices.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Great interpersonal and organisational skills.
· High emotional intelligence.
· Strong leadership and conflict management skills.
· Ability to stay organised and manage multiple projects at once.
