Role Background & Purpose:
Cpl is hiring for a Marketing Events & Membership coordinator to join our growing Group Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to showcase and develop their skillset within a dynamic, fast paced environment.
The Marketing Events and Membership Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events while also managing membership programs to enhance engagement, and drive growth. This role involves working closely with internal teams, external vendors, and memberships to ensure a seamless experience. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, organise, and execute events, including conferences, networking sessions, webinars, and workshops.
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, registrations, AV setup, and materials.
• Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Develop and maintain event calendar, budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maximizing value.
• Promote events through email marketing, social media, and direct outreach.
• Oversee post-event evaluations and reporting to measure success and identify improvement areas.
• Inform program strategy by analyzing data and reporting results.
• Coordinate the design of various event materials, both print and digital.
• Assist in development and implementation of event communication strategies
• Manage the membership/partnerships activities ensuring maximisation of memberships
• Handle membership inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinate membership activity across the group
Stakeholder Engagement & Administration:
• Maintain strong relationships with members, partners, and sponsors.
• Work collaboratively with marketing and internal teams to promote and execute events
• Support sponsorship and partnership development efforts.
• Prepare reports on, event attendance, and engagement metrics.
Experience & Attributes:
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience
• 2–5 years of experience in event planning, membership coordination, or a related role.
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end event logistics, from planning to execution.
• Experience working with membership-based organizations, associations, or professional networks is highly desirable.
• Strong background in customer service and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with digital marketing, including email campaigns, social media, and content creation.
• Dedication to teamwork and collaboration complemented by a self-starter, go-getter attitude.
• Ability to work in Dublin’s City Centre
Skills & Competencies:
• Event Coordination: Ability to plan, organise, and execute events of varying sizes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for engaging with members, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Budget Management: Experience managing event budgets and financial planning.
• Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and event/membership management platforms a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and handle challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of event and membership management
